Follow the adventures of the hounds and I as we explore the great wild west.
My beagles used to love romping in the snow and often came in limping because they stayed out in the cold too long. When my son's beagle, Mugsy, got really old she couldn't take having her feet cold at all and quickly adjusted to the booties on her feet for a quick trip outside.
I might have to do that will Heidi ... she wouldn't like them though. This time last year I was putting baby socks on her feet to keep her from licking the zinc oxide that was spread on her bare skin ... she had those socks off in less than 20 minutes.
Somehow I can't see your hounds wearing booties. Mine certainly wouldn't
Stella wouldn't mind but it would just give here something else to trip over. She trips a lot over own two feet. Sadie would lick them and then eat them off. Heidi would take them off just like she did the socks. I don't think that will be an option.
