Hounds Back To Enjoy Air Conditioning

As the days start to creep back to the mid to high 80's, the hounds are back to spending more time sleeping during the day and enjoy the air conditioned rooms. I took almost as many photos on the 11am walk of butterflies as I did of the hounds today. I've sorted the hound photos first and the butterfly photos after that. Heidi and I took a short trip to the recycling center after lunch. A little change in the blog format today.

A nice Tuesday here in 'the tropics' of Southern Indiana.

  3. Nice first photo of the butterfly. What does Heidi do in the car, look out the window, sleep?

    1. It's about an 8 mile round trip to the recycling center, also located out in the middle of cornfields. She will start by sitting up in the passenger seat looking out the window. If it's not winter, the window is rolled down. Within 3 miles she lays down and sleeps but sits up once she knows we are almost there. Then sleeps until we reach town and will sit and look out the window the last two miles.

Since you are depending just on the email notification you are a day behind. If you click the "home" link at the bottom of the page after you make a comment it will take you to the most current post (today's) where you will see Heidi was outside enjoying the sunshine today.
