Busy Day With Possible Snow Showers Tonight

With snow showers predicted tonight I wasn't the only one that decided some things needed to get finished today. I had Phase II of my leaf project finished by 11am. Soon after I had taken a shower, and changed into some dry clothes I heard a rumble outside. They decide since it might snow tonight it might be a good idea to harvest their soy beans. Due to all of my activity this morning, I am tired. So I'll leave you with a lot of photos, no content. Heidi says hello from deep inside her sleeping bag.

The temps are dropping fast this afternoon in 'the tropics' of Southern Indiana.

  1. I about froze to death here. It got down to 58 with a drizzle and 25 mph winds.

  2. Here it's 41, drizzle all day, and winds that kept the barn's ventilator fans spinning, even though the switch was off.

    1. That kind of weather feels colder than freezing and snow sometimes. Seattle weather is what I call that. I guess the nose of those spinning fans is like highway noise to me, your are so use to it that you don't notice it??

  3. Happy you were able to get Phase II finished. It's still windy here which isn't helping the firefighters. We are at 42 at 9 PM and could go down to the high 20's tonight. Still no rain.

    1. I was watching the Wunderground Weather channel on tv last night. They were showing an area that had no fires around it in a residential area, no flying embers. A palm tree caught fire from those hot Santa Ana winds and within a minute there was a 100' wall of fire. My friend in Sacramento is keeping me updated on the fires in NorCal. Even in Sacramento she is having to wear a mask when she goes outside.
