Heidi Shocks The World !!!!

IMG_3912

I knew something was up when Heidi jumped out of 'her' big leather chair and stood outside the computer room barking. Stella also wanted to go outside. It was a total shock without me asking her if she wanted to walk, she turned and followed Sella and I. Instead of going into the front yard it sure looked like she was going to take a walk with us ... her first in almost a year.

I'll let the photos tell the story. There are twice as many as usual, so I hope you don't have any problems with the blog loading on your device.

I LOVE IT when it's bright and sunny at 6:30pm in 'the tropics' of Southern Indiana.

What a RED Letter Day this was. Miss Heidi certainly has a mind of her own. You must have been shocked that she joined you and Stella on the walk. So nice for you to be able to get some photos of the two of them out in the field.

  2. Oh my goodness!! Wonder what got into her?! Love seeing pictures of both of them walking side by side noses to the ground! Go Heidi!! She’ll probably need some extra naps tomorrow 😉

  3. I guess she came out of hibernation and decided to see the world. Kinda amazing.
We went to a good small airshow and I took a passenger ride in a WWII B-25 for the experience. It is very loud inside but the view out the nose is worth all I paid.

I bet you and Stella were in shock. She's even in the lead at times. Good for her.

  5. The camera didn't catch it but a couple of times of her trotting. She trotted a lot to keep in front of Stella and the lead. I was happy to see her out walking.

  6. I'm still not sure what got into her but it was good to see. Plus, it was not even close to her threshold of 70°, for activity.

  8. She walked to the edge of the house in front like she always does but then turned around as I stepped into the carport. She even took the lead getting into the backyard. She had to trot a few times to take the lead back from Stella. It was good she see her walking that far.
